She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hammett and Lucille Ryan Smith; her husband Larry Brown of Barnwell; her children, Along, Forrest Brown of Atlanta and Emmylou Brown of Barnwell; her close friends, Weesie Fickling, June Black, Lura Deane Richardson, Virginia Norwood, Jane Bradley, Eleanor Still, Rose Turner, Ann Moore and Camille Thomas; her friend Blake (Jess Wilbanks); and also, Mike Keel of Barnwell, Posey Belcher, Billy Vaughn and Paul Bolen (Donna).
