She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Kenly Reese and Leona Storey Reese; her husband Claude Harrell Hutchinson; her son-in-law Daniel Gunter; her siblings, Mildred, Faye, Ruth, Melba, Ella Mae, Mary, Evelyn, Dick, Henry, Pete, Lester, Tony, Harvell, Gene, Edward and James; and her sister-in-law Margie Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Butch Day (Adlyne) of Leesville, SC, Eddie Day (Frances) of Saluda, SC, Michele Day Gunter of Aiken, SC and Treena Fulmer (Keith) of Aiken, SC; her stepdaughter Kristi Batten (Kenneth) of Albany, GA; her grandchildren, Amanda Day, Travis Day, Jessica Taylor (Robert), Buddy Day (Kristin), Ashley Henry (Thomas), Daniel Gunter (Christina), Taylor Watson (Troy) and Kody Day; her brother John Steele; and her sister-in-law Ola Mae Steele. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family has asked the memorials be made to the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
