With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Allyson McCarthy (Aiken, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Rudolph McCarthy and Virginia Johnson Padgett; and her stepfather James Padgett. She is survived by: her wife April Carroll; her stepdaughter Shondel McBurney; her son Kohen McBurney; her siblings, Susan Dunbar (Rick) of West Union, SC, Cindy Johnston (Russ) of New Jersey and Mike McCarthy (Debbie); her nieces and nephews, Erik McCarthy, Chris McCarthy, Rees McCarthy, Kelly Godfrey and Robbie Baxter; and her pets, Charli, Little Bit, Timmy, Ava, Sophie and Gracie.
