She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Vernon McAlpin; her parents, Ellsworth Edwards and Anna Laura Glover Edwards; and her son Michael McAlpin. She is survived by: her children, James L. Siders (Mary Lou), Robert L. Siders (Vivian) and Laura Ann Ferguson (Robert); and her daughter-in-law Susan McAlpin of Evansville, IN. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for memorials be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church Building Fund, 3079 Old Powderhouse Road, Aiken, SC, 29803.
