With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy H. Sherrod of Adams Run, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Though Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hollywood Chapel (7173 SC-162, Hollywood, SC 29449). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the House of God Miracle Temple (8137 Clyburn Rd, Hollywood, SC 29449). A burial was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at the same location.
