He is survived by: his wife Theresa Nichols Bowie; his children, Elaine Bowie-Swaim of Lexington, SC, Cindy Armour of Elberton, GA, Cain Bowman of Lowndesville, SC and Lee Bowman (Jamie Burden) of Calhoun Falls, SC; his brother Anthony Ray Bowie of Hodges, SC; his aunt Anne Dudley Chavis; and his grandchildren, A. J., Emily, Marshall, Luke, Matthew, Grant and Sophie.
