It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgina Smith Sides (Abbeville, South Carolina), born in Fairview, North Carolina, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Alexander Smith and Ruby Ellen Brooks Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Hobart (Bart) and Daniel Howard (Danny); and her grandchildren, Adoniram Bartlett Sides of Warwick, RI, Hannah Ellington Sides Kazimir of New York City, Jennifer Sides of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jonathan Sides of Taylors. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
