It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen J. Mountford of Abbeville, South Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mountford and Agnes Mountford; his daughter Debbie; and his sisters, Joan Shapiro and Patricia Kruse.
He is survived by: his wife Dee; and his children, Susan Hilley (Ray) of Abbeville, Stefanie Bowen (Jason) of Greenwood and Robbie Mountford (Jenny) of Abbeville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
