She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolas Kalfayannai and Marie Belabekis Kalfayannai; her grandson Ethan Chase McCord; and her siblings, Georgia Tsapakis and Stratos Kalfayannai.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia W. McCord (James) of Abbeville and George Whiten, III (Anita) of Abbeville; her sister Panagiota Smith (Paul) of Easley; her grandsons, Will Whiten and Bradley McCord (Brigitte); her great grandchildren, Bradley and Caydence; her niece Sophia (Frank); her nephew Minoli; and her pet Willow.
