She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Thomas Junior Smith; her children, Michael James Gilliam (Jay) of Asheville, NC and Christine Kimsey (Jeff) of Abbeville, SC; her mother Mildred Kirkland Smith of Abbeville, SC; her grandchildren, Glenn, Jonah Kimsey, Cade and Justin Gilliam; her stepgranddaughter Jessica Blackman; and her son Andrew Michael Gilliam.
