He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel'Tom'Sutherland, Sr. Sutherland and Dorothy Ware Sutherland; his brother Claude Sutherland; and his brother-in-law Arvin Gambrell. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Wilson Sutherland; his children, Kevin Sutherland (Sonja) of Due West, Lisa Ricketts (Darrell) of Aynor, SC and Terri Collins (Tim) of Wilmington, NC; and his siblings, Jimmy Sutherland (Lee) of Abbeville, Betty S. Uldrick (Frank) of Abbeville, Edna S. Faggart (Bob) of Abbeville and Gail Gambrell of Donalds. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and another great-grandchild.
