He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Ora Estelle Davis Long; and his siblings, James Davis Long, Raymond'Bill'Long, May Elizabeth Long Mead, Linda Long Saylors and Gloria Jean Long Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
