He was predeceased by: his brothers, Glenn Hayes and Homer Hayes. He is survived by: his significant other Billie June Trautwein; his children, Kristi McConnell (Michael) of Abbeville, Joshua Hays of Colorado and Natasha Hays of Indiana; his sisters, Barbara Parsons of Florida, Jewel Callaway of Ohio and Brenda Ray of Ohio; and also Homer Hayes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
