She was predeceased by: her parents, Haskell Johnson and Frances Burden Johnson; and her brother Wayne Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Dye; her children, Laura Lawrence (David), Lee Ann Gordon (Randy) and Herbert J. Dye, III; her grandchildren, Katherine Morgan (Evan), Patricia Sorrow (David), Will Gordon and Elizabeth Gordon; her great grandchildren, Clare, Susie, Naomi, Vera and Issac; her siblings, Joyce Kilgore, Kenneth Johnson, Donald Johnson (Lynn) and Charles Johnson (Laura); and her close friends, Carol Norris, Nancy Fogle, Tina Norris, Gina Norris and Gloria Norris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abbeville - Harris Funeral Home (302 N Main St, Abbeville, SC 29620). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (2699 SC-72, Abbeville, SC 29620).
