It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Wallace Lawton of Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent W. D. Lawton; his siblings, Warren Bud Lawton, Clarence A. Lawton, Ruby Link, Allie Mae Norton, Eunice Pruitt and Frances Leslie; his grandson-in-law Michael Arant; and his son-in-law John Cox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marsha Cox of Abbeville and Eugenia 'Genie Lawton of Cayce; his grandchildren, Carmen Arant and Joshua Cox; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Arant, Alexis Noblin and Sara Arant.
