She was predeceased by: her spouse J. Lee Nichols; her parents, Sug James Bonds, Sr. and Lizzie Hill Bonds; her sons, David Nichols and Randy Nichols; her son-in-law Willie "Red" Bowie; and her siblings, S. J. Bonds, Jr., Marion Bonds, Frank Bonds, Parnice Parks and Louise Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Bowie of Abbeville, SC and Roger Nichols (DeRhonda) of Calhoun Falls, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
