He is survived by: his wife Julie Stewart Cooner; his sons, Martin Wells Cooner, Jr. (Jennifer) of Birmingham, AL, Douglas Stewart Cooner (Allison) and Columbia; his granddaughter Ashley; and his siblings, Jacob Roy Cooner of Greenwood and Josephine Cooner Bartley of Greenwood.
