She is survived by: her sons, John Mark Hawthorne (Jean) of Donalds and Michael P. Hawthorne (Alice) of Donalds; her brother David Hughes (Molly) of Donalds; and her grandchildren, Kelly Hawthorne Smith (Joseph) of Honea Path, Tonya Hawthorne Saylors (Justin) of Bowersville and Codi Hawthorne Owens (Michael) of Donalds. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
