It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manley Horton Sr. (Abbeville, South Carolina), born in McCormick, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Horton, Sr. and Maggie Brewer Horton; and his siblings, William M. 'Bill' Horton, Jr, Bobby Horton, Kathleen Mabry and Mageleen "Maggie" Weaver Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his children, Manley Horton, Jr. of Abbeville, Mary Horton Shaw (Ron) of Greenwood and Teresa Horton Woodhurst of Abbeville; his brother David Horton (Judy) of Abbeville; and his grandchildren, Amy Willoughby, Jason Shaw (Lelia), Becky Clinkscales (Jay) and Katie Jo Woodhurst. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
