He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Nisly and Lizzie Nisly (Yoder); and his siblings, Harley, Daniel, Elmer, William 'Bill Nisly, Vera Mae Nisly and Laura Nisly.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Hershberger Nisly; his children, Delores Kauffman (Kevin), Gina Swartzentruber (Glen), Carolyn Nisly, Ken Nisly (Gloria) and Wayne Nisly (Leona); his siblings, Larry Nisly (Barbara), John Fredrick Nisly (Sara) and Barbara Ellen Miller; his sisters-in-law, Iva Nisly, Elizabeth Nisly and Cora Nisly; and his grandchildren, Brandon (Krista), Anthony (Melissa), Wesley (Amy), Alanna (Ryan Miller), Kendra, Grant, Kayla, Braden, Rochelle (Chad Miller), Justin (Jalisa), Brad, Cassandra, Landon, Tyler (Larissa), Shannon, Rachel, Shari, Cam, Cooper Freeman, Kolt Collins, Enslee, Ellie Wallace, Jenny Belle Brantly, Annsleigh McCaslan, Taylor Grace Morgan and Titus Speer. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
