She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. and Willie C. Tolbert Freeman; her son Adarryll McCoppin; and her sisters, Nancy Freeman and Marjorie Martin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Monike Macedo and April McCoppin; and her brothers, Joe Freeman and Robert Freeman. She is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
