He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Hoyt James and Corene Yeargin Smith; his brother Alex Hoyt James, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Jan Burton James. He is survived by: his spouse Kelly Mundy James of Abbeville; his son Levi James (Cassidy) of Abbeville; his siblings, Mike James of Iva and Karen Jordan (Robert) of Calhoun Falls; his grandsons, Dylan and Jacob James; and his pet Tiny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
