He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rivers Mabry, Sr. and Caroline Black Mabry; and his siblings, Francis, Dexter, Tommy and Caroline Mabry King.
He is survived by: his niece Susan; his daughters, Theresa Mabry of Abbeville and Susan Mabry Thompson of Abbeville; his grandsons, Kale (Meg) and Cody Thompson; his great grandchildren, Ember Moon Smith of Abbeville and Kenna Thompson of Abbeville; his nephew Preston Mabry of Columbia, SC.; and his grandson Jedediah "Jed" Smith.
In lieu of flowers, his daughter's respectfully request donations be made to Abbeville Animal Shelter, 79 Old Calhoun Falls Rd., Abbeville, SC 29620 in his memory.
