James C. Ellis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James C. Ellis of Abbeville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James C. Ellis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marvin Ellis, Sr. and Rebecca Ware Ellis; his daughters, Sherrie Canfield and Patricia Campbell; his brother John Marvin Ellis, Jr.; his granddaughter Tanna Scott; and his son-in-law Bubba Canfield.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Earl; his children, Jimbo Ellis (Linda) of Abbeville and Connie Scott (Bobby) of Abbeville; his sister Jean Fleming (Tommy) of Iva; and his grandchildren, Delane New (Barry), Jeremy Scott (Cherie), Leighanne Scott (Michael), Brittany Scott, Dusty Scott (Carley), Shanna Lovett (Tim), Christopher Prince, Justin Campbell (Casey), Carl Keith, TJ Keith, Angelina Ellis and Jessica Ellis. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (2699 SC-72, Abbeville, SC 29620).
