He is survived by: his children, Maryann (Samuel Yoder), Abner (SallyAnn Lantz), Edna (Stephen Longenderfer), Linda (William Peachy) and Jacob Jr. (Vera King); and his brother Menno S. Riehl of Leola, PA. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
