He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Andrew and Lucy Jane Powell McCurry; his daughter Karen Elaine McCurry; his siblings, Aaron McCurry, Callie Mae McCurry, Ruth McCurry Kimsey and Marie McCurry Patterson; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Davis McCurry.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Andrew McCurry Jr. of Abbeville, Sheryl McCurry Brown (John) of Abbeville and Timothy "Tim" McCurry of Abbeville; and his nieces, Brenda Ludlow and Cathy Brown. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchild, and 1 great great great grandchild.
