She was predeceased by: her parents, James Perry and Margaret Baker Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Shonda W. Dowis; her siblings, James'Jim'P. Brown, II (Mona) of Plum Branch, Joyce Reed of Arizona and Lyndia Duprecee of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Gracie and Drake Dowis; her great grandchild Brynn; and her friend Billie New. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
