She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Neil Gable; her parents, James William 'Will Bruce, Sr. and Cora 'Elise Sutherland Bruce; her son Richard Wallace Gable; her sisters, Dorothy "Willise" Cheek and Etta "Angeline" Gaines; her grandmother Elizabeth Bruce; and her grandson Tracey Adam Vargo, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Shelby Vargo of Abbeville, SC; her siblings, James William 'Billy Bruce, Jr. (Eleanor) of Tyrone, GA, Alice Willis of Iva, SC and Sue Butler (Raymond) of Iva, SC; and her grandchildren, Sandi, Chris, Matthew and Steven. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19, the family requests everyone wear a mask.
