He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Benjamin, Jr. and Barbara Ann Gambrell Chadwick. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Tony Ruth, Jr. (Cathy) of Belton, Wendy Stevens (Raymond Gill) of Belton and Dianne Saxton of Honea Path; and his siblings, Donnie Chadwick of Waterloo, Debbie Bell of Honea Path and Lynn McCall (Jimmy) of Honea Path. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621.
