He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard, Reedy, Broadus, Austin, Gerald, Archie, Clarence, Madge, Mabel, Betty, Judy, Cleo, Hazel, Helen and Lizzelle.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shepard Bryant of Abbeville; his children, Bonnie Boyd (Tommy) of Abbeville and Ricky Bryant of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Kristy Boyd, Jennifer Fisher (Ben), Josh Bryant (Lacy) and Lauren Hudson (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Zander, Ari, Jude, Eli, Jamie, Cannon, Rushton, Will and Jada.
