He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Thorton Carroll; his wife Sandra; his son Paul Carroll (Kathy) of Ninety Six; his stepgranddaughters, Carla Bryan and Kristie Kennedy; his daughter Vanessa Oaks of Abbeville; his grandsons, Adam, Alex and Noah Oaks; his son-in-law Gary Oaks of Abbeville; his stepgranddaughter Madison Davis; his sisters, Elizabeth Burchett Heath (Howard) of Madison, OH, Arnetta Davidson (Jim) of Bluefield, WV and Nancy Yatabe of Illinois; and his friends, Alan Hughes and Cecile McFarland.
