She was predeceased by: her father James B. Evans, Sr.; her husband Gene; her daughter Lynn Houston; and her siblings, William B. Evans, James B. Evans, Jr., James H. Thomerson and Betty Styers.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Don Houston; her grandchildren, Howie Houston (Megan) and Beth Ellen White (Stephen); her great grandchild Lucy; her brother Jeff Evans (Pat); and her great grandchild Eleanor Grace. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
