He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Owen and Mary Hazel Stargel Owen; and his brothers, Robert Gary Owen and James Paul Owen. He is survived by: his son Craig Owen (Julie) of Piedmont, SC; his siblings, Deborah Owen of Williamston, SC, Rebecca Lynn McDonald (Andy) of Forest City, NC, Kenneth Lamar Owen of Six Mile, SC and Marvin Glenn Owen (Janet) of Williamston; and his granddaughters, Clara and Hazel Owen.
