It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra Hughes Batson of Abbeville, South Carolina, born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Gable and R. J. Hughes; her siblings, Tommy Boyd, Dale Pinson, Robbie'Toby'Richardson, Karen Pinson and Martha Ann Hughes; and her great grandchildren, Eastyn and Sawyer.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Batson; her children, Jeremy Alewine (Lisa) of Waterloo, Cory Alewine (Kim) of Abbeville and Brandee Floyd (Shane) of Abbeville; and her brother Perry Pinson (Mary) of Hodges. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
