He is survived by: his wife Claudette Tant Mitchum Smith; his sons, Rob Mitchum (Kim) of Abbeville and Tommy Mitchum (Tiffani) of Abbeville; his sister Lula Smith Stephens (Doug) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Megan Cann (Tim), Elijah, Abby, Caleb, Isaiah and Lily Mitchum; his great grandchildren, Emily Cann and Ellie Luiz; and his niece Kristen Stephens (Jason Curran).
