He was predeceased by: his brother Earl Ashley; and his pet Kelly Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stewart Ashley of Abbeville; his children, Scott Ashley of Abbeville and Melissa Ashley of Mt. Airy, NC; his stepchildren, Halee Webb of Abbeville and Scott Webb of Abbeville; his siblings, Roger Dale Ashley (Teresa) of Anderson, JoAnn Brock and Shelby Brock (Donnie) of Belton; his grandson Zachary Ashley; his great-niece Pressley Hammonds; and his pet Sam.
