It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroleen T. Mattison of Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lamar and Louise Getsinger Tucker; her spouses, James T. Mattison and Orvis V. Brock; her son Donald Lee Brock; her siblings, Betty Jean Tucker, Charles David Tucker, Johnny Frank Tucker and James Cleveland Tucker; her brother-in-law Harry Scharling; and her nephew Benjamin Bratcher.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara T. Scharling; her sisters-in-law, Louise Tucker and Judy Elder; her nieces and nephews, Patricia Lusk (Steve), Renee Creasy (Harry), Tripp Scharling (Kelly), Kim Griffin, Derrick Tucker (Angie), Mike Tucker (Cindy), Richard Tucker (Anne), Christi Dotson (David), Cheryl Griffith (Billy), Ronnie and Lucille Mattison; and her close friends, Kathleen Banks of Emerald Gardens, ALF, Sam, Sandy Milford, Gerald, Earlene Milford, Steve, Susan Glenn, Gene Burton, Dorothy Fleming, Will, Sue Poteat, Cody, Allison Fields, Mike, Julie Fleming, Becky Wofford and Tommy Arnold.
