He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Claude Hughes; his wife Sally; his brother Tommy Joe Hughes (Shirley) of Abbeville; his brother-in-law Curt Wilson (Pat) of Lake Secession; and his children, Brittany Sumner and Megan Sumner Gilmer. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and wide circle of extended family and friends.
