He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carr Blackburn, Sr. and Hazelene Staton Blackburn; and his sons, Scott M. Sutherland and Shannon M. Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Rachael Manley Blackburn; his sons, Steve Sutherland (Jenny) of Abbeville, SC and Mike Blackburn of Spartanburg, SC; his sister Nancy Evans of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Shana (Bobby), Jessica (Kirby), Madison, Sydney (Stephen), Davis, Matthew and Caitlin; and his great grandchildren, Evan, Maisie, Tristan, Reynolds, Oliver, Magnolia and Ayla.
