He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Crook and Ruby Holcomb Crook. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ferguson Crook; his daughter April C. Sutton (Jerry); his siblings, Danny Crook (Sue), Beverly C. Ware and Debra C. Knowlton; his grandchildren, Samantha S. Latham (Ech), Devin Sutton (Madison) and Sydney Sutton (Skyler Sellars); and his great grandchild Clayton Dale Sutton.
