She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert "Bobby" Culbreth; her parents, John Henry and Lucy Holmes Monroe; her daughter Phyllis Tucker; and her grandson Alex Michael Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Taylor of Abbeville, Tony Taylor (Margaret) and Lisa Taylor Compton of Abbeville; her siblings, Walter Monroe, George Monroe, Shirley Hughs and Mary Revels; her granddaughters, Katelyn Taylor, Julia Taylor and Leah Reese (Dan); and her great grandchild Tyson Reese. She is also survived by 3 step children, 4 step grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Upper Long Cane Presbyterian Church (194 SC-20, Abbeville, SC 29620).
