It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avie Lee (Abbeville, South Carolina), born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on October 15, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hill Exum and Avie Nadine Simms Exum. She is survived by: her husband Frank L. Lee; her children, Johnny Lee (Pamela) of Abbeville, SC and Fran Strickland Anderson (David) of Abbeville, SC; her brother John Hill Exum, Jr. (Jean) of Nashville, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Josh Lee (Cheyenne) of Abbeville, SC, Matt Lee (Jo), Brandy Johnson of Bethlehem and Jake Strickland of James Island, SC. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
