It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Lou McCord (Abbeville, South Carolina), born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Henry McCord; her parents, Emory G. Loggins and Jannie Reynolds Loggins; her siblings, Owen, Gilbert, Willie Saye Loggins, Ida Belle Nix, Reba Rooks and Ruth Hampton; and her son-in-law Mike Summer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan M. Weeden (Art) of Irmo, Betty M. Summer of Batesburg and Jannie M. Ashley (Wayne) of Abbeville; her sister Estelle McMahan of Honea Path; and her grandchildren, Will Tiller (Kristy) of Niceville, FL, Tracy McCoy (Chris) of Irmo, Ben Ashley (Paige) of Abbeville and Rebecca Timmerman (Bret) of Abbeville. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many extended family and friends.
