With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Cox Barnes of Abbeville, South Carolina, born in Walhalla, South Carolina, who passed away on November 25, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bunnie Cox and Bertha Mattison Cox. She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Scott of Abbeville, SC, Faye Hall (Joe) of Greenville, SC and Peggy Price of Columbia, SC; her sister Violet Chatos of Greenwood, SC; her grandchildren, Mike Price (Maria), Michelle Ponce, Rodney Scott and Donna DeBrew; her great grandchildren, Sloan Scott, Zoe Ponce, Carson Ponce, Storey Gilchrist (Andrew) and Chris DeBrew (Morgan); and her great great grandchildren, Lillie DeBrew, Hines DeBrew and Eva Gilchrist.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Ann may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 505 Greenwood St. Abbeville, SC 29620.
