He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha M. Johnson, Sr. and Gyula Fogle Johnson; his daughter Carol J. Copeland; and his brother Charles Allen Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Frankie; his daughters, Tina Alexander (Curtis) of Abbeville and Angie Creswell (Aaron) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Brad, Michael, Brandon, Ashlie, John Rhett and Missy. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
