He was predeceased by: his mothers, J. O. Cann and Sara Hall Cann; his siblings, Alton Cann, David Cann, Alice Price and Juanita Fisher; and his grandson Justin Randall.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Harrison Cann; his children, Richard Cann of Abbeville, Terri C. Sheppard (Jim) of Abbeville and Patricia C. Randall (Franklin Lewis) of Abbeville; his sisters, Mary Frances Clark of Florida and Lillian Hayes of Abbeville; and his grandchildren, Obie Cann (Jessica), Savannah Cann, Timothy Cann (Megan), Ronnie Cann (Lisa), Noah Cann, Troy Sheppard, Brett Sheppard (Kaitlyn) and Brad Randall (Tonya). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
