He is survived by: his parents, Bruce W. Lawing and Laura Lee Lawing (Baxter); his wife Caitlyn E. Lawing (Sugrue); his children, Grayson Lawing, Madison Lawing and Morgan Lawing; his sister Kelly Trammell (John); and his in-laws, Thomas Sugrue (Dorothy) and Diane Rogers (James).
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the S. R. Avery Funeral Home (3A Bank St, Hope Valley, RI 02832). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the The Richmond-Carolina Fire Department (208 Richmond Townhouse Rd, Richmond, RI 02812).
In lieu of flowers donations in Mike's memory may be made to Michael and Caitlyn's son Grayson's Education Fund. Donations can be made directly to Caitlyn for this fund.
