He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Bernard and Ida Bernard (Miller); and his brothers, Calvin Miller, Nelson Miller, Terrence Bernard and Robert Bernard.
He is survived by: his children, Dominic Bernard of Springfield, MA, Naomi Bernard of Portland, OR and Jasmin Bernard of Lowell, MA; his grandchild Sandy Starczewski; his brother Nathaniel Miller (Tudy) of Woonsocket, RI.; and his pet Max.
