He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Young and Emeliane Young (Gamache); and his brother Richard Young. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Young (Boulay); his daughters, Jill McCarthy (Jason Ferriere) and Donna Hart (Brian); his grandchildren, Sean, Morgan Hart, Collin and Brady McCarthy; his brother Raymond Young; and his pets, Shannon and Duffy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home (445 Greenville Rd, North Smithfield, RI 02896). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1200 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895). The military honors will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (261 W Wrentham Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
