He is survived by: his children, Nelson Fernandes, Jr. (Donna) of Georgia, Steven Fernandes (Wendy) of Woonsocket, Debra Cote of Georgia, Gail Boucher of Woonsocket, Hope Charron (Ronald) of Florida and Randy Fernandes; his grandchildren, Jason, Bethany, Amanda, Craig, Derrick, Cassandra, David and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Austin, Autumn, Chase, Paizlee, Parker, Jaxxon, Christopher, Isabella, Trayvon, Vincenzo and Giovanni; his siblings, Robert, Edward, Julio, Roland Fernandes, Alice, Alcina, Fatima and Virginia; his granddaughter Tiffany; and also Brenda Fernandes (Champange). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nelson, Sr. can be made to the Holiday Retirement Home, 30 Sayles Hill Rd., Manville.
